Housing Equity Fund of Kentucky I
Created in June 2006 by FAHE Capital Corporation and Virginia Community Development Corporation, the Housing Equity Fund of Kentucky I, L.L.C. is the first LIHTC Fund focused on serving the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The Fund officially closed in 2006 with a total of $10 million in investments from Branch Banking and Trust, Community Trust Bank, Fannie Mae, Fifth Third Community Development Corporation and National City Bank Community Development Corporation. Due to overwhelming interest, the Fund has increased in size to $17 million through additional subscriptions from these investors. FAHE Capital funded three projects from its first equity fund:
